THE STORY OF WHITE RICE
Vietnam is one of the world’s richest agricultural regions and the world’s seventh-largest consumer of rice. Vietnam’s land area of 33 million ha has three ecosystems that dictate rice culture. Vietnamese white rice has been famous in the worldwide market for many decades. Thus, our company has various choices for white rice input sources to serve the best quality beverages to our consumers.
If you visit the Mekong Delta, you would be immediately impressed by boundless white rice fields. With hundreds of years of cultivating white rice, farmers in our country have to go through a strict planting process, including watering, fertilizing, and minimal use of pesticides and insecticides.
The most nutritious, healthily grown rice in immense and fertile fields in Vietnam is chosen as our factory’s input. After the rice is harvested, it is grinded and delivered to our factory in air-free styrofoam bags. Those bags must ensure maximum aeration in the transporting process.
White rice has an impressive nutritional profile: manganese, thiamine, selenium, niacin, vitamin B6, phosphorus, copper, magnesium, and Omega 3,6,9. Manganese is vital for many body functions such as bone development, wound healing, muscle contraction metabolism, nerve function, and blood sugar regulation. Antioxidants like selenium support reducing the risk of inflammation.
