Description
THE STORY OF BROWN RICE
Brown rice is listed as one of the most natural and good-for-health foods, as after harvesting, the farmers only grind the rice husks but do not remove the germ and bran of the rice as other types of rice. Therefore, brown rice is rich in nutrients. To produce high-quality brown rice, they have to go through strict planting, watering, fertilizing process, and without pesticides and insecticides.
The most nutritious, healthily grown rice in immense and fertile fields in Vietnam is chosen as our factory’s input. After the rice is harvested, it is only slightly grinded to keep maximum amounts of nutrition and is delivered to our factory in air-free styrofoam bags. Those bags must ensure maximum aeration in the transporting process.
Brown rice has an impressive nutritional profile: vitamin A, vitamin B1, vitamin B3, vitamin B5, vitamin B6, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Zinc, Copper, Manganese, Selenium, and Omega 3,6,9. Manganese is vital for many body functions such as bone development, wound healing, muscle contraction metabolism, nerve function, and blood sugar regulation. Antioxidants like selenium support reducing the risk of inflammation.
