THE STORY OF LYCHEE
Our lychee-related products are manufactured from the famous Kim Son Thieu lychee from Luc Ngan, Bac Giang. This place is known as the kingdom of lychee, as the land, soil, and weather are especially appropriate for this fruit. Kim Son Thieu lychees distinguish themselves among other types of lychees with red, thin, and bright peel; juicy, sweet, white, and thick flesh with small seeds. Those lychees are given special attention as they are grown by experienced farmers.
In harvest season, harvesters must get up early at 4 a.m to prevent the hot weather from harming fruits’ quality. Lychees must be cut down carefully to remain appealing appearance of the fruits. They should meet the Vietnamese Good Agricultural Practices (VietGAP) standards, including the limitation of using pesticides and plant protection drugs with stricter caring time, which ensures lychee trees grow better, bear sweeter, and more tasting fruits. After harvesting, these fruits are delivered to our factory in air-free styrofoam boxes. Those boxes must be able to resist shock while also ensuring maximum aeration.
Kim Son Thieu Lychees are rich in many beneficial nutrients: Iron, Vitamin B-6, Vitamin B-2, Copper, Carbohydrates, Magnesium, Protein, Sugar, Sodium, and Potassium, especially vitamin C. This fruit directly supports digestion, preventing the flu, core, sore throat, and fevers, preventing cancer, promoting immunity power, counteracting liver and weight problems, and maintaining blood pressure.
