Description
THE STORY OF SUGARCANE
Sugarcane is a herb species explored from the seventh century and mostly used for sugar production. In Vietnam, Sugarcane grows along with the country, especially Western and Southern parts, due to land characteristics of 50 tons/ha.
Apart from the natural conditions, the skilled workforce for many years is also the primary factor in creating and ensuring the quality of sugarcane. The farmers need to supervise starting seedling, fertilization, and weeding to the harvest process (cutting down, cleaning, bundling, and transferring). As usual, the best time to harvest sugarcane is from November to the April of the next year to avoid the flood. After being harvested, these fruits are delivered to our factory in air-free styrofoam boxes. Those boxes must be able to resist shock while also ensuring maximum aeration.
In terms of benefits, each 100ml of sugarcane provides Natri 58mg, Kali 63mg, Ferrous 3.6mg, Magie 10mg, Canxi 13mg. As a result, they can be together beneficial for health, reduce the risk of diabetes, heal ulcers, and play an essential role in preventing cancer, especially colon cancer, lung cancer, and breast cancer.
