THE STORY OF ORANGE
Our orange-related products are sourced from the most famous orange field in Vietnam – Bac Quang district, Ha Giang province. With an appropriate climate condition and a long tradition of orange cultivation, Bac Quang oranges are known as the most delicious, sweet, and affordable orange sources in the worldwide market. In recent years, cultivation measures have changed from VietGAP standard to Organic standard for better orange quality and quantity.
Bac Quang oranges have distinctive characteristics: the fruit is big, has a thick and scabrous skin, unique aroma, light yellow intestine, and lovely taste. Bac Quang farmers have particular methods and standards on using pesticides, watering, and fertilizing. To be chosen as the supply for our orange-related products, those harvested fruits have to surpass a strict quality test: have good flavor and aroma, as well as finely textured skin. After harvesting and choosing, those fruits are delivered to our factory in air-free styrofoam boxes. The boxes must be able to resist shock while also ensuring maximum aeration.
In terms of nutritional facts, oranges are rich in vitamin C, vitamin B1, B9, and Potassium. Moreover, they also contain other bioactive compounds such as carotenoids, phenolics, and citric acid. Therefore, they provide a wide range of health benefits for consumers. Phenolics help prevent heart-related diseases, citric acid supports kidney disease prevention, and vitamin C can act as a catalyst for treating diseases caused by low levels of red blood cells (such as anemia).
