THE STORY OF COFFEE
Dak Lak Province in the Central Highlands of Vietnam is called the “capital” of Vietnamese coffee because there are boundless green coffee fields on the local basaltic hills full of wind and sunshine. The coffee in this area is famous in the home market and very well-known to more than 80 countries and territories worldwide. Dak Lak coffee is chosen as our source for input material. Having grown coffee for centuries, farmers have been well aware of improving the quality of the coffee. They have paid attention to investing in the farms to achieve sustainable development and process coffee beans with international standards.
Dak Lak coffee is famous for its delicious taste and aroma as they are cultivated in a strict process, from planting to watering, weeding, fertilizing, draining, killing insects, and harvesting. As Dak Lak is in the Central Highlands, it is essential to have a sufficient water supply for trees. After picking the ripe coffee cherries and removing the beans from them for the harvesting season, farmers soak them in the water and dehydrate them. Those intermediate products are transported to our factory to start the processing stage. This step includes roasting, grinding, and mixing with other supplements to make coffee beverages.
