Popular as they are, growing basil seeds require lots of effort. The best way to cultivate these grains is to start indoors in pots with loose soil and an upper layer of vermiculite. Watering frequently for a week, then the seeds would germinate. After all the frost has gone, spread all the grains in well-drained soil under protective shelter and water them in the morning.
